This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (“Spirit Defense”). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Through innovative engineering and rapid prototyping excellence, Spirit Defense provides the capabilities, technologies and support customers need to succeed in their missions.
Location: Wichita, KS (On-site)
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) tools and systems
- Test Application upgrades and patching
- Routine administrative work including License Management and User Provisioning/Deprovisioning
- Create new administrative groups to support new work scope as well as setting up new configurations
- Assist with future scoping and planning of the core Deltek tools major upgrades and evaluating new capabilities of the upgraded tools
- Evaluating and implementing routine upgrades to the core Deltek tools across all operating environments
- Provide support to functional users of the tools via ticketing systems. These tickets include data integrity, breakdowns in existing processes, requesting new capabilities, etc.
- Work with the functional users and management to assist in identifying industry best practices for both process and compliance
- Implement identified changes to the tools to ensure compliance and processes
- Provisioning roles to new employees in your organization and rescinding access to those who leave
- Complete configuration requests
- Implementing best practices to drive efficiently
- Implementing required program security needs
- Keeping up to date on new technologies and implementing new technology cutovers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of related experience
- EVMS background (i.e. EIA-748 EVMS Standard and industry best practices)
- Business Analyst or Financial Analyst background
- Problem solving with careful planning, coordination, and documentation
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Expertise in tools like Excel, financial software, and data visualization platforms
- Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and/or Over Target Baseline (OTB) activities
- Experience with Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSR), estimates-to-complete, integrated costs, as well as technical and schedule information
- Developing contract performance management information
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Detailed oriented and the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of government EVMS policies and reporting requirements
- Supporting program offices in EVMS analysis
- Knowledge of Deltek Cobra, PM Compass, Open Plan (OPP), and/or Acumen

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $60,300 - $92,450
Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems’ Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years. Click here for more information on the tax credit.
Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
