Finance Summer Analysts will join the 10-week long full-time program, which starts in June 2026 and introduces students to Finance through diversified experiences. You will have the chance to get an in-depth look at complex products from a financial, accounting and controlling perspective, and to work in a truly multinational environment.
 

Your typical placement will look like this:
 

You will be placed into one of the following Finance areas: Markets Control, Valuation Control, Regulatory Reporting or Corporate Treasury. Your day-to-day duties will vary depending on your placement but will include but not be limited to markets control, financial reporting, developing financial controls, management reporting, and management of balance sheets and liquidity.

The program starts with an orientation to Citi and a series of functional and technical training sessions. Training is designed to aid you in maximising effectiveness during your time here, to help you build a broad skill set as well as discover the best fit for your skills.

• Are working towards a BSc/MSc in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or in any similar disciplines.

• Are due to finish your studies in summer 2027.

• Have right to work in Hungary.

• Have excellent verbal and written English knowledge.

• Have good understanding of financial products (stock, bonds, derivatives) and interest in the world’s financial markets as well as sound accounting foundations

• Have working knowledge of MS Excel, excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Are pro-active and have a team player attitude
