What you’ll do
This role has direct business responsibility in Australia for the Core Trade products and wider support for the JANA (Japanese, North Asia & Australia) cluster, with a portion of time dedicated to covering and supporting our Trade Loans business. This role is accountable for managing key stakeholders, setting country strategy, supporting in wider cluster/regional strategy as part of overall global strategy to drive Core Trade & Trade Loans revenues and growth. This role also is responsible for promotion of new and innovative products and corridors, increasing market share and maintaining the competitive position of Citi in the cluster thereby aligning overall business objectives.
As part of the Global Network Management the remit of this role also includes:
- Drive simplification, global standards, local configuration;
- Connect the network, corridors; and
- Active Network management
- Benchmark, Proprietary 3rd party
What we’ll need from you
- Self-starter with proven ability to deliver stretch goals
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Superior organisational skills (including self organisational skills).
- Superior analytical and credit skills
- Strong people management & business development skills
- Proven ability to cover a large complex geography / region
- Ability to multi-task and at times work under significant pressure and to demanding deadlines
- Extensive knowledge of Citigroup credit processes
- Corporate Finance experience relevant
- Extensive product knowledge – excellent knowledge of trade products, including structured trade products, and deep expertise in Trade Loans involving large/complex transactions.
- Project management/execution
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics or related discipline
- Broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development and analytics
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
