Cash and Trade Proc Rep 5 - Teller, Branch Operations is an entry level responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex cash operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing financial transactions (Cash deposits, Cash withdrawals, transfers).
  • Assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Maintaining and balancing cash drawers.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform cash management operations, such as cheque processing, return items.
  • Participate in compliance related activities to minimize losses
  • Assist with cash operational project needs
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 0-4 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in cash handling and banking transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant banking systems and software.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to identify and resolve customer issues.

Education:

  • B.B.A./M.B.A. is preferred.
