Team/Role Overview
In 2002, Citi established its regional Commercial Cards business to cater to the ever-growing needs of our clients, providing Travel, B2B and Virtual card solutions. The regional EMEA business now covers more than 600 corporate clients, 45 markets with significant further expansion underway. The main responsibility for the Client Service Officer is to manage and optimize Commercial Cards programs for Citi’s valued clients, answering client inquiries and performing program maintenance.
What you will do:
- Daily client communication via email, ad-hoc conference calls resulting in effective action
- Ensure client card programs operate optimally for the client organization and toward Citi’s overall service strategy
- Day-to-day issue resolution with key internal contacts and client’s organization with an emphasis on resolving the root cause of any issues
- Taking ownership of inquiries, issues to coordinate a fast, accurate resolution
- Identify opportunities for program improvement that will increase client satisfaction
- Practice continuous effective process improvement within service and operations to reduce errors, bottlenecks and ultimately costs to both Citi and our clients
- Identify areas to improve workflow and reduce manual touchpoints by promoting digital tools
What we will need from you:
- Fluent English
- French and German will be considered as an advantage
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or account management
- Highly organized and structured work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong MS Office and system skills
