Application Development Tech Senior Lead Analyst (Senior Vice President)
Job Description:
The Applications Development Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:

Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals of Wealth Ops Technology team.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures of Citi around Wealth management and retail bank.

Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
-
Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards

Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources

Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
-
12+ years of relevant experience out of which 10 years in Application Development or systems analysis.

Hands on experience in developing, implementing & supporting Enterprise level applications in Banking or Wealth management.

Minimum 7 years of experience in building and delivering successful technology projects in financial services or Banking industry
-
Extensive experience system analysis and in engineering of platforms used for Client onboarding, KYC, credit underwriting etc in Banking/Wealth management domain.

Experience in developing enterprise grade applications using Spring boot Microservices, Rest APIs etc.

Experience in managing technology teams located globally.

Working knowledge of banking practices, laws and standards

In depth understanding of Wealth management, Retail Banking, investment products, process & back-office operations.

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
