Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Manage and execute fraud analytics and strategies supporting Citi’s North American and global credit card and retail bank businesses. Leverage data to identify fraud trends. Design and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate fraud attacks across the entire fraud lifecycle, including application and synthetic ID fraud, account takeover and sophisticated new attack schemes. Partner with Fraud Policy, Operations and various other partners to keep apprised of business and technology direction in order to determine potential and existing fraud impacts. Leverage data and advanced analytics to derive patterns, trends and insights, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis. Own and manage fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies, risk appetite execution, POS interdiction strategies, and defect analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations based on data and trend analysis, and implement mitigation strategies. Build effective relationships within and outside the Fraud organization to help ensure successful and timely execution of key portfolio priorities. Leverage knowledge of information acquired to identify potential process gaps and opportunities for improving effectiveness of controls and governance processes. Generate and manage regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends. Mentor and train junior employees in learning critical domain knowledge and fraud mitigation processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related quantitative field and 2 years of experience as a Business Analytics Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Analytics Manager, Systems Engineer, Applications Development Associate, or related position involving data analysis and trends identification in support of business strategies executions. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span experience must include: Leveraging SAS, Python and SQL programming to extract, transform and analyze complex datasets; Using Python, R and SQL for data wrangling and data manipulation; Performing analysis of large datasets to derive patterns, identify key trends and develop actional strategies to improve business performance; Data visualization and report generation using Tableau and Excel Pivot to monitor key business metrics; Utilizing quantitative and analytical skills, including descriptive statistics, regression, clustering, decision tree, anomaly detection and trend analysis to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets; Evaluating model performance and identifying areas of improvement while considering bias-variance tradeoff; and UNIX Command line tools for system administration and data management.
