Payments Product Owner
As a Business Analysis Senior Supervisor, you will be a key member in our Global Payments technology team.
This is a techno-functional role where you will act as the vital bridge between our business strategy and engineering execution.
Your primary objective is to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our development teams,
driving the continuous iteration and innovation of our core payment platforms by writing/reviewing EPICS and writing clear user stories with SMART objectives for global payments product processor.
You will be instrumental in investigating business challenges, uncovering insights, and shaping the solutions that power our global transaction services.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Product Owner for a dedicated Agile team, taking full ownership of the product backlog, from creating high-level Epics to drafting detailed user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to define and prioritize features that deliver maximum value, align with strategic goals, and enhance our payment processing capabilities.
- Drive process efficiency and recommend new work procedures to optimize team performance and delivery quality.
- Ensure resource and knowledge gaps are proactively addressed to maintain business service continuity and project momentum.
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to analyse complex problems, identify innovative solutions, and achieve shared objectives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a similar techno-functional role within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies with a proven track record of managing product backlogs and writing effective user stories.
- Knowledge of SWIFT and ISO payments end to end processing capabilities.
- Expertise in Clearing, Cross border payments and key functions.
- Global Payplus (GPP) Application knowledge.
- Oracle SQL and technology know how for data extraction and analysis and solution design.

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
