The Product Management Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team ensuring products and business processes are compliant to anti-money laundering, know your customer and sanctions regulations and laws. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position while maintaining compliance to AML/KYC and sanction external and internal requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, research issues or application of new regulations / policies to products, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Oversee client and competitor market research specific to regulatory compliance, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans by ensuring products operate compliantly with regulations and internal policies
  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Must have SAS skills to query datasets for researching issues and potential solutions
  • A knowledge of anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring and sanctions regulatory experience required
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred
