  • Job Description

  • Collateral Management• Oversight and support to ensure daily tasks in relation to the Margin call processing on behalf of Open

  • Collateral clients are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Issuance of margin calls, margin calls agreement, margin call booking and authorization in Cloud Margin
    system.

  • Performing Start of the day, intra day and EOD checks to ensure all margin calls for the day are processed.

  • Working on Disputed margin calls and resolving reconciliation breaks assigned to the team.

  • Working closely with margin call makers, resolving queries, training new joiners and tracking functional
    performance.

  • Ensure Open Collateral Operations adherence to Citi Risk and Controls framework

  • Participation in the implementation of strategic projects

  • Assist with creating and implementing new process enhancements to ensure key process indicators in relation
    to collateral management are met and improvement of daily processing to increase efficiency.

  • Communicate with external parties e.g. counter parties, clients, custodians, vendors

  • Effective management of queries both internal and external

  • Building relationships with our Citi business partners including Product, Product Development, Legal,
    Compliance, Risk, Test, Implementation, Middle Office and Technology teams and communicating with external
    parties.

  • Producing and enhancing management information / reporting for internal and external users.

  • Effective management of any escalations.

  • Assist with training and development of team members.

  • Working with the team managers to ensure team goals are met.

  • Job Skills/Qualifications

  • Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Graduate / Post Graduate

  • 5-7 years of work experience in Operations

  • Prior work experience in the Collateral management domain would be preferable.

  • Have a general understanding of securities markets\payments\settlements

  • Be able to work independently and able to deliver under time constraints

  • Ability to identify possible risk and escalate when necessary

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective Team player and possess ability to monitor & help team members.

  • Good business judgment, knowing when to escalate, who to keep informed to identify appropriate next steps / resolution
