Citibank, N.A. seeks a Product Manager for its Tampa, FL location.
DUTIES: Lead multi-country and high-priority projects and liaise with product partners, infrastructure, and regulators to ensure products and projects are implemented as planned. Assess competition and participate in strategic definitions for the implementation of actions related to maintaining the current market leader position. Provide strategic coverage in the U.S., Canada, and LATAM countries including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Panama. Identify new customer needs and the products and services required by the Securities Services community in the Americas region. Work with global Product Managers to optimize global service offerings as well as leverage regional knowledge, expertise, and infrastructure to find new opportunities in the Americas region. Keep updated on Global Capital Markets and Market Infrastructure trends, developments, and initiatives as well as Global and Regional Competitor strategies and products. Act as Platform as a Service (PaaS) Product Lead for North America, providing support on complex implementation and product adherence. Support Sales and Coverage teams in the sales process for cross-border name deals including pipeline management and the implementation of deals won across the cluster. Participate in the pricing process for new and existing customers. Support revenue realization and identify opportunities to shorten deal lifecycle. Ensure products and projects follow the standard approval process and that a thorough analysis is performed to identify associated risks to the offering and that they are mitigated to an acceptable level according to standard product definitions. Prepare and submit Product Catalogue modifications and Special Transaction Memos as required. Support the implementation of Key control functions specific to products as they are implemented. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation managing financial investments. Six (6) years of experience must include: Working with Securities Services within Latin America Countries. Working with compliance, corporate policies, administrative procedures and corporate operational processes. Utilizing a comprehensive approach to complex financial product delivery. Structuring securities services projects by engaging directly with diverse stakeholders, local and global clients, internal and external consultants, system developers and operational areas. Utilizing product management or product development for revenue generation supporting business development. Contributing to service model design and partnering with operations and technology to create effective and scalable service models. Working with Business Financial and Product Life Cycle. 40 hrs./wk. 15% domestic and international travel required to visit clients and attend project reviews/implementations.
