This is a sales role carrying sales targets. CGAT (Citi Gold Acquisitions Team) Telesales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling wealth management product and services to existing and prospective clients through outbound calls. The role focuses on building client relationships, understanding financial needs and supporting the achievement of sales targets while maintaining high service and compliance standards. The job requires to generate leads for onboarding new to bank Citigold & Citigold Private clients & call existing clients to upsell Citigold & Citigold Private clients. Person will be responsible for meeting monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade existing Citi blue relationships to Citigold & Citi Private by upsizing current funding and deepening the relationship.
- Provide eligible leads to the field sales team and ensure all agreed predefined paraments are met.
- Meet & exceed primary sales targets set on opening NTB accounts, funding of these accounts & upgrade of existing clients, at the same time meeting other important KPIs
- Ensure updating of complete KYC details for the originated accounts.
- Work with internal teams, field sales team to identify opportunities which can help increase lead conversion & positively impact other KPIs.
- Assist a Citigold client in meeting any identified investment and insurance need by referring him to on Investment Professional
- Keep abreast of current economic environment and capital markets, to have meaningful discussions with Citigold NTB prospects and optimise acquisition effectiveness.
- Deliver on the score card parameters for improving NTB acquisition, Client Penetration, qualified funding, profiling & client retention.
- Calling on adhoc base for performing service-related tasks, as assigned by bank.
- Deliver consistent and best-in-class customer service
- Meet the compliance and controls standards set by the Citigroup
- Ensure 100% adherence to Code of Conduct.
- Ensure 100% adherence to “Sales Do’s and Don’ts”.
- Maintains updated knowledge of bank’s products and processes and is able to offer a high quality sales experience.

Other Requirements:
- Must possess sound judgment and be creative in providing solutions to bank’s clients.
- Foundational knowledge of CITI RETAIL BANK’s structure, strategy, product suite and target market
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of Citi Risk and KYC policies and practices.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning Detection
- Demonstrates ability to build knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking including basic commercial credit knowledge and an ability to quickly learn new products and services.
- Ability to work effectively in team setting.
- Communicates views with clarity and confidence.
- Maintains contact with key stakeholders to proactively seek input as appropriate.
- Demonstrates self-control and maintains composure under pressure.
- Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational skills.
- Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients.
- Demonstrates a natural curiosity about Citi, the economy, local markets and regions without preconceived notions or ideas.

Knowledge and Experience
- 1-3 years of sales or telesales within the financial services industry
- Either prior experience of acquiring high-net-worth clients (Priority Banking / SME Banking) or prior experience in investment products, such as, Mutual Funds, Insurance, equity, fixed-income (bonds) will be preferred.
- Other Industry relevant telesales experience such as real estate / Assets experience can be considered.
