  • Handle Corporate Action events from announcement to payment, processing communications, notifications, and facilitating postings.
  • Execute regulatory controls, perform account reconciliations, and manage record retention in line with established policies and market practices in Japan.
  • Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports relevant to asset servicing.
  • Coordinate and resolve processing issues related to corporate actions and income, collaborating closely with Global teams and relevant internal departments.
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, stakeholders, and Japanese clients, fostering strong relationships across teams.

  • Support a range of products/services and projects under general supervision, working with Global teams for seamless execution.
  • Develop a strong understanding of asset servicing products, processes, and industry standards specific to the Japanese financial market.
  • Apply a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others to achieve broader departmental objectives.
  • Minimize operational risk by strictly adhering to procedures, proactively monitoring errors, and ensuring full compliance with audit and control policies.
  • Ensure timely escalation of all requests, inquiries, issues, and errors to appropriate channels.
  • Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.
