Cisco Silicon One Israel is seeking Senior Software Program Manager

Meet the Team

Cisco Silicon One leads ASIC design for next-generation network devices, shaping the future of networking in the AI/ML era with industry-leading silicon solutions. Our technology delivers high speed, programmability, power efficiency, and scalability while supporting Open Standards, Open Networking, and cloud data centers.

As part of the Silicon One team, you will work alongside talented engineers and innovative customers to build world-class products. The team spearheads SDK development for multiple generations of Cisco ASIC families, enabling advanced networking capabilities across diverse platforms.

Your Impact

You will lead sophisticated, multi-functional programs spanning silicon development, firmware, and system delivery, driving execution from initial concept through production. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions, craft effective processes, and ensure strategic alignment across the organization.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Driving end-to-end program execution for the Silicon One ASIC software ecosystem, including integration with industry-leading network operating systems.
  • Serving as a key interface for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for next-generation Cisco Silicon One devices.
  • Leading cross-functional alignment across engineering teams in a globally distributed environment.
  • Owning program schedules, milestones, dependencies, risk management, and executive communications.
  • Partnering with software engineering leaders to ensure tight hardware/software co-development and integration.
  • Liaising with Cisco internal business units and customers to collect requirements and manage prioritization across competing stakeholder interests.
  • Driving accountability for outcomes while working through influence in environments with high ambiguity, rapid change, and ambitious timelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of combined experience across Engineering Program Management/ Engineering team management, and/or hands-on engineering roles within the high-tech electronics industry.
  • Experience with systems software development, including software lifecycle and delivery models.
  • Experience leading sophisticated hardware and software programs for ASIC-based products in large-scale or cloud environments.
  • Experience influencing technical leaders and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience driving bring-up for silicon New Product Introduction (NPI) devices, including coordination across software, ASIC, and hardware component teams.
  • Experience leading hardware, software, or system programs for hyperscalers, OEMs, or major network operators.
  • Strong technical understanding of high-performance networking silicon, including switch and router ASICs.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles delivering technically sophisticated solutions, with strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
