About the Role
The Director of Collaboration Sales for Germany is responsible for leading Cisco’s Collaboration business across the region, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer engagement. This senior leader owns the go-to-market strategy for Cisco’s collaboration portfolio—including Webex, calling, meetings, contact center, AI collaboration tools, and devices—while building high-performing teams and aligning tightly with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy

Define and execute the national sales strategy for Cisco’s Collaboration business, ensuring alignment with EMEA and global priorities.

Accelerate growth across enterprise, commercial, and public sector segments by developing clear go-to-market motions and competitive positioning.

Drive predictable and sustainable pipeline generation through strong governance, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration specialists, drive leadership with account managers, and systems engineers who
will report elsewhere but be within your business.

Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Attract and retain top talent while promoting diversity, inclusion, and cross-team collaboration.
Customer & Partner Engagement

Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customers, building deep relationships to influence digital transformation agendas.

Engage partners—including Tier 1 resellers, service providers, and ecosystem partners—to scale Cisco’s collaboration footprint.

Champion Cisco’s value proposition to C-suite stakeholders, demonstrating business outcomes driven by innovation and AI-powered collaboration solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Customer Experience, Product, Channel, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.

Partner with the global Collaboration Business Unit to influence product roadmap and ensure regional market needs are addressed.

Align with other Cisco architectures (Security, Networking, Data Center) to drive integrated solution selling.
Business Performance & Operations

Manage P&L responsibility for the German Collaboration business.

Track performance metrics, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Ensure operational excellence and compliance with Cisco policies and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS, collaboration, unified communications, or enterprise technology.

Proven track record of leading teams and delivering consistent revenue growth in a complex matrix environment.

Deep understanding of the German market, customer landscape, and channel ecosystem.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

Experience leading transformation initiatives, especially related to On Prem, cloud, AI, and hybrid work technologies.

Excellent communication skills in German and English
