Your Impact

Cisco Web Ex helps people and businesses across the entire world to connect and collaborate. As a member of the Web Ex media team, your work will ensure that every person using our products receives a truly immersive experience, regardless of their device or location.

On a day-to-day basis, this role involves:

• Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements.

• Performing peer code reviews and automating all development chores.

• Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospective meetings.

• Broadening your technical and soft skills with the help of our comprehensive training programs.

• Steers AI effectively via context and prompt design.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience and a MSc (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Demonstrated ability to use AI responsibly to accelerate development.

Preferred qualifications

• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Collaborative, self‑directed, eager to learn and share knowledge.

• Hands‑on with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Experience with media streaming and relevant protocols for real‑time applications.

• Comfort with incremental development, testing, and A/B testing in production.

• Experience steering AI effectively via context and prompt design.
