The APJC Partner Technical team at Splunk plays a critical role in accelerating partner-led growth across the region. We work closely with a diverse ecosystem of partners across ANZ—ranging from global system integrators to specialist consultancies—helping them build deep technical capability, scalable practices, and differentiated go-to-market offerings on the Splunk platform.
Your Impact
As a Partner Sales Engineer (PSE), you will be a key technical leader and trusted advisor within the ANZ partner ecosystem. You will help partners successfully position, sell, and deliver Splunk solutions by providing technical enablement, pre-sales support, and strategic guidance aligned to their go-to-market objectives.
Working closely with Splunk sales teams and partner stakeholders, you will drive partner productivity and scalability by owning the technical evaluation stage of partner-led opportunities and advocating for Splunk’s value to both technical and business audiences.
What You’ll Do

Engage effectively with partners to define and execute technical engagement strategies aligned to their Splunk-based go-to-market objectives

Design and deliver technical enablement plans, including workshops, hands-on sessions, and webinars, to build partner capability and confidence

Demonstrate the value proposition of Splunk’s products and platform capabilities through live demos, remote presentations, and field events such as conferences and trade shows

Act as the primary technical advisor to partners, responding to technical inquiries related to Splunk products, features, solutions, and use cases

Support partner-led sales opportunities by managing technical evaluations, proofs of value, and customer-facing engagements alongside the Splunk sales team

Contribute to RFIs and RFPs by addressing functional and technical requirements

Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with partner technical and sales stakeholders

Travel as required to support partners, prospects, and customers across ANZ

Apply analytical and creative problem-solving skills to remove technical sales obstacles and accelerate deal progression
Minimum Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in a Partner or Channel Sales Engineer role within a software or technology company in ANZ
-
Hands-on experience with enterprise technology solutions in IT, Security, DevOps/Observability, or Cisco-related technologies

Proven experience delivering technical sales enablement sessions, workshops, or webinars to partners or customers

Demonstrated ability to support pre-sales technical activities, including demos, evaluations, and RFI/RFP responses

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex platforms and solutions
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with or enabling partner ecosystems across multiple industries and business sizes

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business decision-makers

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence presenting to both technical and executive audiences

Project or program development experience within a partner or sales engineering context

Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and growth-oriented attitude, with comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
