About the role

“Are you an engineer who enjoys building products—not just features?
Join us to prototype, experiment, and shape the future of industrial cybersecurity.”

Meet the Team
Cisco Cyber Vision is a cornerstone of Cisco’s industrial security strategy. The team delivers deep visibility into Operational Technology (OT) networks, helping industrial organizations ensure the continuity, resilience, and safety of their operations.

We are bridging the gap between IT and OT by embedding security directly into the industrial network fabric. You will join a high-performing team of Product Managers and Security Solution Architects with deep expertise in OT and cybersecurity.

Your Impact
We are looking for a builder-first Technical Product Manager who thrives in a prototyping-driven environment. This role is ideal for engineers transitioning into product or Product Owners with strong development backgrounds.

Instead of managing a static backlog, you will:

  • Lead with rapid prototyping alongside engineering teams
  • Validate ideas through customer feedback and real-world testing
  • Translate successful experiments into scalable product features

You will play a key role in shaping the future of industrial cybersecurity products at Cisco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer discovery by engaging directly with industrial users to understand OT security challenges
  • Lead prototyping efforts with engineers using modern AI-assisted tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
  • Translate complex networking and security requirements into intuitive product features
  • Evaluate prototype outcomes and make data-driven decisions on product direction
  • Define clear user stories and technical requirements for production-ready features
  • Collaborate with engineering, program management, and sales teams to align product delivery

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Application Software Engineering or Product Ownership with coding background
  • Hands-on experience working with APIs, system design, and application architecture
  • Experience in either Cybersecurity or OT/Industrial Control Systems
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in development workflows
  • Exposure to industrial protocols such as Modbus, PROFINET, or Ether Net/IP
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and customer-facing teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
