Test Development Engineer at Cisco
About the role
What You'll Do
You will be a Test Development Engineer in Silicon Operations focusing on ATE test bring up. You will partner with Cisco ASIC team to bring up tests, characterize units, support reliability and release test program to production. You will work with Tier-1 OSATs in NPI, and work with internal test operation team to support high volume manufacturing test, provide continuous improvements like yield improvement, test time reduction and quality issues. Your role will also be to drive component failure analysis, containments, and root cause corrective actions.
Who You'll Work With:
You will collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group, peer Test Engineers in Silicon Operations and with Cisco Systems NPI teams. You will also work with Cisco’s manufacturing partners to triage any failures and manage the OSAT production test activities.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualification
-
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
-
3+ years experience in SOC/VLSI test bring-up, production and characterization test, and product engineering experience.

Good working knowledge of Advantest 93000 tester for test program development.
Preferred Qualification
-
Skilled in writing code in C, C++, 93k test methods, PERL, python

Knowledge of test cell integration.

Knowledge in DFT APTG and test pattern development.

Ability to work with crossteam and leadership across many parts of Cisco's technical entities to implement bleeding-edge solutions for Cisco's ASIC and system test strategies.

Strong teamwork & collaboration skills. Excellent problem solving & effective conflict resolution skills.

An effective multi-functional communicator with strong, presentation and interpersonal skills, who perseveres and has multi-functional leadership to get results and change across organizations up to the executive level.
