Software Engineering Advisor Position Overview

Join the team that manages the end-to-end technology and life cycle management of our web-based AMP (Affordability Management Platform) platform. AMP is a web-based portal used by our internal business partners for managing contract negotiations. In this role you will work across several teams helping to support and maintain our CI/CD pipelines and DevOps procedures in addition to working as a backend developer.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join the Affordability Management Platform (AMP) team. This role is a somewhat split role where the primary focus is for DevOps, but also for helping build and support our backend APIs and datapipelines. In this role you will join a team of developers and testers that design, develop, test, and support multiple web-applications that provide business insights to our business users. This role will require knowledge about how CI/CD pipelines work and hands-on experience with Cloud Bees CI, Jenkins, Terraform and Git. When you’re not working on DevOps, you’ll be helping build, maintain, and support our backend APIs and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support our CI/CD pipeline using Cloud Bees CI and Jenkins
• Ability to troubleshoot CI/CD Pipeline failures
• Design and maintain Dev

Ops pipelines using Terraform and GitHub:

• Look for opportunities to optimize existing pipelines

• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines

• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs, TypeScript, NodeJS, and SQL

• Candidate will help design and build new features and enhancements

• Help perform triage and root cause analysis of system issues.

• Partner with other teams and stakeholders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.

• Ability to provide alternative solutions.

• Experienced with agile methodology.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Healthcare domain experience.

• Qualifications Required Skills:

• Hands on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub

• Some experience with Typescript/JavaScript, SQL, and various AWS services including S3, Lambda, AWS Batch, and RDS

• Some experience with designing and developing ETL data jobs

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
• 11-13 Years of overall technical expereince Software
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps role.
• 6+ years of experience in backend API and DB development.
