Software Engineering Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Engineer with1–3 years of hands-on experience in application production support and monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications by proactively monitoring systems, identifying issues, and supporting day-to-day operations

Responsibilities: • Be a team contributor in a team of Engineers and Analysts in triaging technical and functional issues.

• Day-to-day ticket triage (coding skills), monitoring the ticket queues.

• Debugging production issues using Java / Spring Boot.

• Having good knowledge on Dynatrace monitoring & Splunk usage

• Conduct regression checkouts, both ad hoc and planned.

• Create, coordinate, and track the resolution of stories required for fixing tickets.

• Monitoring jobs and reacting to job issues.

• Release checkout POCs.

• Ad hoc data research.

• On-call support, night shifts, available to work in one of four shifts. Rotation over weekends, with weekday comp offs.

• Knowledge on Open Shift / AWS Cloud technologies.

Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience in application development or production support.

• College degree (Bachelor) in related technical areas or equivalent work experience.

• Basic knowledge of any of the following technologies: TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, and an ability to understand complex architectures.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest rectification options.

Preferred Qualifications: • College degree (BE or BTech).

• Exposure to production environments.

Industry / Domain Experience Needed: • Demonstrated experience in production support operations.

• Ability to navigate a geographically diverse team and communicate effectively.

• Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and its usage in complex applications.

• Passion for analysis and learning to grow, adapting to a fast-changing environment.
