Job Title: Scrum Master Lead Analyst Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
-
Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with significant technology involvement.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and define clear, measurable outcomes.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships across teams and all organizational levels.
-
Effectively prioritize competing initiatives and manage resource allocation based on business value and strategic objectives.
Agile Coaching & Facilitation
-
Champion Scrum and Agile principles across teams and departments, driving adoption and maturity.
-
Facilitate key agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and story mapping.
-
Coach Product Owners on effective backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
-
Mentor teams on crafting effective user stories, agile estimation techniques, and best practices.
-
Guide teams in applying Agile Manifesto principles, identifying and correcting anti-patterns.
Continuous Improvement & Delivery Excellence
-
Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to reduce duplication, waste, and enhance productivity.
-
Promote and support DevOps practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and alignment on definition of done.

Conduct regular assessments of team agility and maturity, tailoring coaching to team needs.

Proactively identify and remove impediments, escalating organizational blockers as needed to ensure delivery excellence.
Team Development & Culture Building
-
Foster a collaborative, high-trust environment through one-on-one coaching and ongoing team engagement.
-
Facilitate conflict resolution and consensus-building to strengthen team cohesion and performance.
-
Support team morale and motivation through transparent communication and modeling agile best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational strategies.
-
Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
-
Ensure all deliverables adhere to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and organizational standards.
-
Track and report key agile metrics (velocity, burndown, team satisfaction, etc.) to drive transparency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: Education and Training Required:
-
Any bachelor’s degree
-
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Agile certification.
-
SSM (Certified SAFe Scrum Master)
-
Second level Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM II)
-
Ongoing professional development in agile methodologies and healthcare technology preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience
Skills: Primary Skills:
-
Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
-
Knowledge of other agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
-
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
-
Ability to balance business needs and technical constraints.
-
Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
-
Backlog management, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder engagement.
-
Skilled in risk management and problem-solving.
-
Proficiency with agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.).
-
Deep knowledge of US Health Care Services processes and regulations.
Additional Skills:
-
Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
-
Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).

Leadership and team-building abilities.

Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Change management and stakeholder engagement.

UX/UI collaboration experience.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to navigate complex environments and drive change

Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Experience Required:
-
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar agile leadership role in technology-driven organizations.

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product backlogs.
-
Hands-on experience facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and allocate resources effectively.
Experience Desired:
-
Experience in US health care or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry.
-
Proven track record in agile transformation and coaching, ideally at scale.
-
Prior involvement in digital transformation or healthcare technology modernization projects.
-
Exposure to regulatory compliance in US healthcare (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
-
Experience with cloud-based or SaaS healthcare solutions.
-
Knowledge of medical claims processing, EHR/EMR systems, or payer/provider workflows.
Work Hours:
- 2.30PM IST to 11.30PM IST
