About the Role
Based from Dingley (Melbourne) you will be responsible for service and minor works installation of wet and dry fire suppression systems on a variety of industrial and commercial sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.
This will involve:
- Servicing wet fire protection equipment strictly in accordance with AS1851, and in accordance with Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes
- Identifying & scoping Recommended Repairs and assisting to quote repairs
- Installing and carry out minor works on fixed fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire & Security procedures
About You
- Experience working as a Sprinkler Fitter within all aspects of inspection and testing.
- FPAS Qualifications
- Sprinkler Fitter license
- Ability to carry out servicing on pumpsets, up to 5 annuals & 5 yearlys (preferred)
- Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) or working rights
- Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is essential.
- Current driver’s licence
- Extinguishing Agent Handling License
- Handheld skills with the ability to operate service app, completing work orders electronically.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
- A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards
- Self motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment
- Be willing to be part of an after hours call out roster
- Ability to build customer relationships
