Chobani is seeking a dynamic and experienced Military Foodservice Manager to join our Foodservice team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in CPG sales within the Military segment, deep knowledge of military procurement systems, and a passion for building trusted relationships across bases, distributors, and the DLA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding Chobani’s foodservice presence across U.S. military bases. This includes overseeing existing base-level business, penetrating new installations, managing military distribution through independent and broadline partners, and navigating DLA bids, pricing, and compliance requirements. The Military Foodservice KAM will report to the Director of Foodservice Sales and will be a key member of the Chobani Foodservice Field Sales Team.
Responsibilities

Lead Chobani’s Military foodservice business & strategy for all U.S. military bases (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard).

Build strong relationships with dining facility leadership, installation foodservice managers, prime vendors, and Exchange/Commissary foodservice operators.

Manage all purchase orders and order flow for bases, ensuring accuracy and flawless execution.

Identify, target, and penetrate new bases and new military dining opportunities to drive distribution and menu growth.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for foodservice-related business including bid management, pricing, and contract negotiations

Manage military foodservice distribution across both independent distributors and major broadline distributors supporting military bases

Partner with distributor leadership, replenishment teams, and military program managers to ensure proper stocking levels, pricing execution, and product availability.

Build and execute the long-term growth strategy for Chobani’s military foodservice segment.

Identify category trends, competitive insights, and installation-level opportunities.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

5+ years of Foodservice sales experience with direct responsibility for the U.S. military channel

Deep knowledge of military procurement systems, DLA bidding, pricing structures, and compliance requirements.

Experience managing military distribution through both independent distributors and national/broadline distributors.

Demonstrated success growing distribution and driving results in complex, regulated channels.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and specifically Microsoft PowerPoint.

Knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
