Job Description:
Associate Program Manager – Site Experience Analytics
Our Team
At Chewy, pets are at the center of everything we do. We’re passionate about making pet parenting easier and delivering happiness to pets and their families. Our innovative products, trusted brands, and exceptional delivery service mean less time shopping and more quality time for pet parents and their beloved pets. Join us in our mission to create the best possible experience for every pet parent!
The Site Experience team is responsible for building and implementing strategies on the Chewy website to optimize customer experience—enabling effortless navigation, engaging content, and seamless product and services discovery. We enable our partners on the Site Experience team by turning data into insights that shape strategy, guide decision-making, and drive customer impact.
About the Role:
Chewy is seeking an Associate Program Manager, Site Experience Analytics to join our fast-paced and collaborative team, based in Boston or Seattle. In this role, you will deliver hypothesis-driven analyses that uncover the “why” and “so what” behind customer behavior, while also managing reporting and analytics initiatives end-to-end across teams.
You will own defined analytics and reporting projects from intake through delivery: adhering to timelines, aligning stakeholders, tracking milestones, and communicating status, risks, and tradeoffs. In addition to dashboarding and experiment analysis, you will ensure projects move forward with clarity and structure, partnering across Product, Analytics, and Site Experience to drive measurable impact.
This role requires both technical depth (SQL, data analysis, visualization) and strong program management fundamentals (organization, cross-functional alignment, and clear communication). The ideal candidate thrives at connecting data to decisions, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations, and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and with high quality. We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to deliver results!
- Key Responsibilities
- Execute defined reporting and analysis deliverables to identify drivers of customer engagement, navigation, and conversion, and translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that influence Site Experience, Product, and Analytics stakeholders.
- Regularly present insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners, ensuring findings are understood, adopted, and acted upon.
- Support the integration of AI into existing reporting and analytics processes.
- Build advanced data visualizations and reports that elevate storytelling and enhance stakeholder understanding.
- Mentor Site Experience merchants on analysis design, problem structuring, and best practices in data quality and visualization.
- Maintain strong technical execution, leveraging large datasets to accurately uncover meaningful insights through efficient SQL and / or analytics platforms.
- Stay current with evolving business needs, proactively identifying new questions to investigate and opportunities to improve customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Analytics, Business, Economics or related field preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, or related roles; experience in e Commerce or digital retail preferred.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL (able to write and modify efficient and complex queries for analysis).
- Advanced Excel and experience with visualization tools (Tableau or similar).
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience storytelling with data; able to distill complexity into clarity. History of sharing findings that influence stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience supporting experimentation (A/B testing) and measurement in a digital or e Commerce environment.
- Proven ability translating messages across technical and non-technical teams. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners, clarifying ambiguous problems and independently executing analyses.
- Experience delivering advanced data visualizations, dashboards, presentations that translate complex data into intuitive insights.
- Relentless curiosity and ongoing learning with a bias toward action.
- Must thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
The base salary range for this role is $76,000 - $114,000.00.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
We offer different types of insurance and benefits, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.
Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
