Acts as a strategic finance partner for Portfolio Development, driving value creation across transactions from structuring through post close execution. Leads cross functional alignment, ensures financial integrity, minimizes execution risk, and enables decision making with BU level impact.
Performs a wide variety of financial analysis to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information used to support business performance assessments and capital decisions. Partners closely with the Portfolio Development (PDev) team on a daily basis, providing financial analysis, issue identification, and execution support across active transactions, with high exposure to Business Unit stakeholders. Delivers regular updates to PDev management and BU leadership, including summarized weekly status updates, key risks, and action items. Develops cross‑functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues. Leads projects of medium scope and complexity; work frequently impacts multiple work groups and the BU/Asset level. Requires detailed knowledge of the work function and general knowledge of related functions.
Required Qualifications

Financial and Accounting Expertise. Strong foundation in financial accounting with experience in reporting structures. Holistic understanding of the upstream business and how different teams in GBS intersect. PR&RA experience strongly preferred.

Systems fluency: Proven experience working with SAP ECC and S4. Experience with Analysis for Office and Digital Tools (Power Bi, Copilot) are a plus.

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working though ambiguity and making reasoned recommendations in evolving deal environment.

Communication and stakeholder management: Strong communication skills (English) with the ability to speak up, raise issues, and clearly articulate concerns and proposed action plans. Coordination skills are needed to work cross functionally with Land, Commercial, Accounting Policy, Tax Advisor, PR&RA, Property Accounting, JIBS and Portfolio Development teams (engineers and management). Highly organized and responsive, with the ability to track follow‑ups and manage multiple transactions in parallel.
