Are you a fresh graduate or an IT professional with less than 2 years' experience? If it's a resounding YES, this might be the perfect career opportunity for you! You can be a part of a rotational program in Chevron Global Business Services – Manila called Horizons. This program aims to immerse young professionals into different IT fields in Chevron such as software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, etc.

Chevron invests on its people to build technical and professional competencies through various training opportunities, development programs, mentoring/coaching engagements, and certification courses. All are applied through experiential learning and actual practice while solving real business problems, but in a safe, supportive, and "fail-fast" environment.

What is the Horizons Program?

Horizons is an employee development program designed to accelerate the competencies, knowledge, skills, and self-confidence of Chevron’s early career workforce. The program’s primary focus is the first three to five years of an employee’s career and provides a solid foundation of knowledge and experience which enables them to contribute at a higher level more quickly.

As a Horizons Participant, you will:

  • Rotate to 3 different IT roles and assignments to increase technology and domain depth and breadth

  • Be assigned a buddy and mentor to help you succeed in your role and assignments

  • Go through various trainings and on-the-job learning experiences to accelerate building your technical and domain skills while already adding value to Chevron

  • Work in Chevron’s global teams handling resources across different countries

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduate or young professionals with less than 2 years’ experience.

  • Background in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, and other computer/engineering related courses.

  • Excited to learn different IT tools and technologies.

  • Motivated to take various IT and Functional trainings.

  • Prepared to work with teams from multiple locations.

  • Possesses analytical thinking and strong communication skills

  • Awareness on the principle of Scrum-Agile framework (preferred)
