About the role

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position I&E Analyst through May 20th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CST)

This position will support S&TB's oil and gas production facilities Process Control Network (PCN), Automation, SCADA and OT infrastructure to enable safe and reliable production operations. The Central Analyst and Programming (CAP) team often bridges multiple teams within Field Operations, IT, and FE so the candidate should have strong competencies in collaboration and fostering relationships outside of their core team.

Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead object and template development (AVEVA System Platform)
  • Assist with SCADA HMI application development (AVEVA In Touch/Archestra/OMI)
  • Develop forward looking SCADA architecture and roadmap for S&TB
  • Advance the capabilities, performance, and access of the SCADA system
  • Address Information Risk Management (IRM) and cybersecurity findings or action items
  • Deploy new servers and perform activities related to the lifecycle of software packages in the PCN; this can include patching, selection, review, and testing
  • Support and troubleshoot SCADA and Automation software on field and central PCN servers to ensure reliable and expected performance (Autosol ACM, Exele Top View, Kepware, etc)
  • Maintain and enable reliable business data flows via SQL, Pi, flat file
  • Train and mentor users/power users to utilize and configure the S&TB SCADA system
  • Some travel to S&TB locations will be necessary (<20% of the time)

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years SME level work experience with AVEVA System Platform
  • In depth experience with SQL and C#, able to effectively develop drivers and support applications interactions with the AVEVA application suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability of working in diverse and distributed team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in first line support/helpdesk in addition to SCADA/PCN experience
  • Experience with Autosol ACM, Exele Top View Kepware and AVEVA/Wonderware SCADA products
  • Strong background in general OT//IT/Networking principals
