Overview:

Guides strategic lens on vision for Chevron’s enterprise desktop service area, developing product roadmaps, and designing implementation approach. Partners with core vendors to understand technology direction, aligning efforts with Chevron strategies and business outcomes. Architects and manages the design for Chevron desktop image and operating systems, patching in adherence to regulatory standards, enhancing trust, data privacy and integrity. Ensures consistent, secure, reliable, resilient services are available across Chevron globally focusing on modernization, driving innovation, and optimizing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a solution expert during engagement with stakeholders.

  • Visible leader in demonstration of architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.

  • Key partner with Microsoft to understand and influence technology direction aligned with Chevron goals for desktop services.

  • Leads the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Azure services in a secure manner, tailored to the oil and gas industry with limited guidance.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.

  • Administers Intune End Point Management to configure/deploy policies based on security standards.

  • Designs, develops, implements, tests, and maintains cloud native solutions, using Azure functions, Azure Databricks, CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation.

  • Leads the system integration dependencies, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability with an emphasis on automation.

  • Develops monitoring approach enabling customer analysis and metrics with defined data model.

  • Work with technical teams to coordinate and communicate status, technical requirements, project priorities, operational impacts.

  • Leads alignment with ENGINE Desktop PO to drive design to delivery approach, manage backlog, prioritize the portfolio, and execute using in a disciplined Agile delivery model.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of prior experience in cloud computing and architecture.

  • Expert knowledge on Azure platform.

  • Technical depth and breadth supporting large-scale workstation infrastructure using Microsoft technologies (Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Graph APIs, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure devops(Repos, Pipelines, Azure functions), Azure VM)

  • Skilled in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using a wide stack of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft development platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps etc.). including others.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

  • Strong experience in Ansible.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Intune support for diverse Enterprise environment.

  • Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

  • Familiar with AI/ML integration frameworks

  • Technical leadership background guiding team to enable quality delivery of outcomes.
