About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Payroll Accounting.This role will be based in6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure all Payroll General Ledger (GL) accounts are reconciled in compliance with Chevron Accounts Reconciliation Standards.

• Oversee and lead the execution of process migration activities and transformation projects impacting payroll accounting, including system deployments such as S/4HANA and Black Line.

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the Payroll Accounting Team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant records and reporting across In‑House and Outsourced payroll models.

• Guide the team through changing business and operating conditions, identifying opportunities to expand scope, standardize processes, and leverage best practices across workstreams and business units.

• Initiate, lead, and actively participate in continuous improvement and simplification initiatives, driving efficiency, quality, and control enhancements.

• Ensure the adequacy and optimal deployment of resources; monitor performance against plans and established benchmarks, and implement corrective actions as required.

• Build, develop, and sustain a skilled, engaged, and high‑performing team through regular coaching, performance observation, and constructive feedback.

• Consistently demonstrate and role‑model Leadership Behaviors essential to leading with intent, fostering accountability, and driving transformational change.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Professional Experience

• At least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

• Solid experience in payroll operations is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in a shared services environment will be considered a valuable asset.
