How you’ll make an impact

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key scheme partners and prioritize opportunities based on Checkout.com's strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with scheme partners to develop comprehensive GTM plans encompassing joint marketing initiatives, sales enablement programs, and co-selling activities.

  • Lead negotiations with scheme partners to establish mutually beneficial commercial terms, ensuring alignment with Checkout.com's revenue goals and risk appetite.

  • Oversee the day to day management of scheme partners, ensuring smooth sales operations and ongoing relationship management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Account Management, Product) to promote Checkout.com solutions within the scheme partner ecosystem and drive adoption among their clients.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheme partnerships, providing regular reports to leadership and identifying areas for optimization.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for scheme partners, representing Checkout.com at industry events and fostering strong relationships within the payments ecosystem.

What we’re looking for

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a related field within the payments industry.

  • Solid understanding of the payments landscape, with specific knowledge of card scheme regulations, products, and partnership models (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of successful negotiation and deal closure.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Good analytical skills with the ability to track, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for driving growth.
