As the Due Diligence Team Leader at Checkout.com, you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding a team of due diligence analysts. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of all due diligence processes, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the due diligence team, ensuring high standards of productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Oversee and streamline due diligence procedures, identifying process enhancements and implementing best practices.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex cases and guide team members in resolving challenging due diligence matters.
  • Monitor team performance, set clear objectives, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, and Operations, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on due diligence activities, trends, and risk insights to senior management.
  • Support ongoing training and development to keep the team updated on regulatory changes and evolving industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in due diligence, financial compliance, or a related field, ideally with team leadership exposure.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices in due diligence and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-team work.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a dynamic
