Company Description

We’re Checkout.com – you might not know our name, but companies like eBay, ASOS, Klarna, Uber Eats, and Sony do. That moment when you check out online? We make it happen.

Checkout.com is where the world checks out. Our global network powers billions of transactions every year, making money move without making a fuss. We spent years perfecting a service most people will never notice. Because when digital payments just work, businesses grow, customers stay, and no one stops to think about why.

With 19 offices spanning six continents, we feel at home everywhere – but London is our HQ. Wherever our people work their magic, they’re fast-moving, performance-obsessed, and driven by being better every day. Ideal. Because a role here isn’t just another job; it’s a career-defining opportunity to build the future of fintech.

Checkout.com is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Share Plans Manager to join our Reward team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and evolution of our global equity programs in a fast-growing fintech environment.
In this role, you will support the management and administration of share plans, helping to ensure they operate effectively and align with business needs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to senior stakeholders, while playing a key role in delivering a high-quality employee experience.
This role supports the ongoing development and administration of share plans across Checkout.com.

This includes:

  • Supporting the development and enhancement of share plans in line with business priorities and growth.

  • Assisting in preparing materials and analysis to support senior leadership on equity compensation topics.

  • Managing the day-to-day administration of equity plans, ensuring accuracy of records and reporting.

  • Supporting compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders (including Legal, Finance, and Tax teams).

  • Supporting vendor relationships, including share plan software providers and other third parties.

  • Contributing to the delivery of operational and administrative processes, identifying opportunities for improvements.

  • Assisting in the preparation of reporting metrics and analysis to support decision-making.

  • Supporting employee communications and education initiatives related to equity programs.

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5 years’ experience in equity compensation or reward, ideally within a fast-paced or multinational environment.

  • Experience supporting share plan administration, with some exposure to global equity programs.

  • Working knowledge of equity compensation, including basic tax, legal, and regulatory considerations.

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams and levels.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

  • Good analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Ability to balance operational responsibilities with project-based work.

  • Experience with share plan systems or HR systems (e.g. Workday) is a plus.
