  • You’re a motivated rising senior student with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a STEM related major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice.
  • Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026.
  • In addition to the role-based projects you’ll work on, you’ll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.

The Spectrum Internship Experience

You’ll join one of our departments for the summer, where you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it’s like to work at a leading connectivity company. You’ll have access to:

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

Internship responsibilities may include

  • Support the team in developing and maintaining predictive models for credit and collections functions (e.g., preparing data, running code, checking outputs).
  • Assist in analyzing data from multiple sources to identify basic patterns and correlations that can be used to improve models.
  • Apply foundational analytical and statistical techniques (with guidance) to answer well defined business questions.
  • Help with parts of the data science workflow, such as data cleaning, simple ETL tasks, feature preparation, and model evaluation.
  • Contribute to interpreting model results by creating tables, charts, and brief summaries that highlight key findings and potential business impact.
  • Prepare slides or short write ups to share analysis results with the team and participate in discussions on next steps.

Required qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM related major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Must have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
