Charles Schwab's **Digital Wealth & Advisor Platforms (DWAP)**organization is seeking a **Senior Product Manager (individual contributor)**to help define, build, and scale core Trading Platform capabilities that support advisors, clients, and internal partners.
This role is responsible for end-to-end product ownership, from strategy and roadmap development through delivery and production support, working closely with technology, design, operations, and business stakeholders.
This is a high-impact role for a product leader with strong trading domain knowledge, platform thinking, and experience delivering complex systems in a matrixed, agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for key Trading Platform capabilities, including front-end experiences, APIs, and system integrations
- Partner with senior business, technology, operations, legal, and compliance stakeholders to align priorities and deliver outcomes
- Lead cross-functional Agile Scrum teams, translating strategy into epics, features, and user stories
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment to business goals and regulatory requirements
- Define release plans, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with engineering and program partners
- Drive end-to-end delivery, from discovery and design through development, testing, launch, and post-release support
- Establish test plans and acceptance criteria, overseeing integrated and UAT testing efforts
- Act as a subject-matter expert for Trading workflows, participating in stakeholder reviews, demos, and escalations
- Provide ongoing production support, triaging issues and partnering with technology teams on resolution and continuous improvement
What you have Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with demonstrated ownership of complex digital or platform products
- Strong trading domain knowledge (e.g., order lifecycle, execution, allocations, compliance, advisor or client trading workflows)
- Proven experience delivering products using Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to AI-enabled features or data-driven product capabilities
- Ability to lead without authority in a highly matrixed organization
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience writing detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wealth management, advisory, or brokerage platforms
- Experience building or modernizing API-driven platforms and integrations
- Familiarity with large-scale transformation initiatives and legacy platform modernization
- CFA or similar financial services certification
