As part of the Digital Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation for Chanel’s client and retail experiences in Korea. This team is responsible for modernizing how we use data to elevate the luxury client journey, ensuring our approach remains both digitally advanced and true to our brand’s values.
Job Purpose The Sr. Manager, Data Management & Enablement, Korea is responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of data enablement and activation across the Korean market. This role delivers holistic governance for all data including Client Data, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and accessibility. You will oversee end-to-end management and delivery of data programs, collaborating closely with the regional Digital Solutions team to maintain alignment and consistency.
By enabling robust data activation and actionable insights, you will address the evolving needs of Korea’s business divisions—empowering teams to make informed, data-driven decisions and drive targeted client engagement. Through strong leadership, you will foster operational excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable impact, supporting both business growth and the advancement of Chanel’s digital transformation in Korea.
Korean Language proficiency is essential, as the role requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities1. Data Governance
- a. Lead the Data Governance Committee, facilitating meetings, setting agendas, and driving cross-functional collaboration to support the Head of Digital Solutions in steering the organization’s data governance strategy.
- b. Follow global data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure holistic and compliant management of all company data, including Client Data.
- c. Ensure compliance with all relevant local and global data privacy regulations, and champion best practices in data quality, security, privacy, and accessibility.
- d. Establish data stewardship frameworks and partner with business and technical stakeholders to monitor, measure, and continuously improve data quality, integrity, and usability.
- e. Collaborate with the Regional Data team and other divisions to harmonize data governance, optimize data architecture, and drive standardization across systems and processes.
Data Program Management:
- a. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key data initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives with measurable targets and benefits.
- b. Manage data program roadmaps, resources, and risk, reporting on outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
- c. Represent Korea to proactively address challenges and coordinate dependencies with regional and global data platform roadmaps.
- d. Monitor industry trends, risks, and opportunities in the data domain; propose strategic responses to maintain competitive advantage.
- e. Build compelling business cases and support executive presentations to demonstrate the value of data programs.
- f. Lead retrospectives and identify opportunities to improve data management practices, tools, and methodologies.
Client Data Management & Enablement:

a. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure client data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

b. Collaborate with global, regional and local data stewards to uphold data standards and ensure secure, compliant data management.

c. Closely partner with Regional Data team who are responsible for the technical environment and infrastructure where data is stored and who are managing and maintaining the data systems, ensuring data security, and implementing data policies.

d. Facilitate and enable digital marketing activation and data insights in Korea by liaising with client data platform and solution owners for data reliability and platform stability.
