About the role:

CHANEL is looking for a Regional Group Director to join our Southeast Team in Miami, Florida. You will play a leading role in the Visual Merchandising Community to ensure and coordinate an on-brand client journey in all creative aspects covered in Fashion Retail, Multi Branded, Multi Select, and Multi Retailor points of distribution in Florida. This role interfaces with the US Visual Merchandising Community, Global Visual Merchandising Community and is a key partner for Retail, Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Events. Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with 3+ years at a senior leadership role and a passion for Creativity, Fashion, Storytelling, and Developing likeminded community members.

  • Possess a clear passion for the art and science of visual merchandising & styling
  • Knowledge of current retail landscape and the latest trends and innovations for retail.
  • Administer the Visual Merchandising and Creative direction for Fashion boutiques
  • Manage 2-3 direct reports through weekly touch bases, regular coaching, and professional development.
  • Organize and implement the necessary Visual Merchandising collateral, such as window and event décor, tools, etc.
  • Protect brand performance and vitality by fostering and harnessing business relationships with Retail and Merchandising partners
  • Train and develop the Regional Visual Merchandising and BTQ VM team as well as the Boutique Management on Visual Merchandising Guidelines and evaluate the Visual Merchandising in store
  • Install seasonal window décor changes and floor merchandising changes
  • Coordinate and plan Visual Merchandising schedules around Boutique openings and renovations with corporate teams
  • Coordinate the Installations of new product launches and special events within the boutique environment
  • Manage regional T&E and Freelancer budgets
  • Domestic and some international travel required to support other projects or business trips

What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous regional and management experience both people and business

  • Team player with strong collaborative skills to build meaningful relationships
  • Self-motivated independent time manager, and ability to prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of how to read construction plans and technical window production drawings
  • Confident presentation and digital literacy with command of Outlook calendar, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop, Word, Mac proficiency strongly preferred.

Position Logistics:

  • Fully Remote: Role can be conducted from home office in the South East Region, may require occasional travel and/or visits to corporate offices/points of sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field or extensive experience in Visual Merchandising.
  • Weekend and Overnight Work required (30 -40 overnights annually)
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is 134,900 through 155,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may/will be offered for this position. Other components may/will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
