Project Management

We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to help improve and support our financial systems at Chanel.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Finance teams and IT developers to deliver modern, reliable financial solutions.

You will also support local (India, LATAM, and Switzerland) and regional FP&A teams to make our financial reporting process more efficient.

About the role

FINANCIAL SYSTEM

  • Work together with Finance and Business teams to help create and improve tools for financial reporting, mainly using TM1 (a financial planning software) and Excel. Don’t worry if you don’t know TM1 yet—training will be provided!

  • Learn about Chanel’s financial structure and help maintain key tables and data for our systems.

  • Take part in projects to develop and improve our financial systems, with support from senior team members. You’ll help gather requirements, test solutions, and assist with documentation and training.

  • Help organize reporting calendars, training sessions and create clear guides to help others use our financial tools.

FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Support the definition and communication of budget calendars, working with global finance and FP&A teams.

  • Help submit monthly and quarterly data required by global finance, working with local and regional teams.

  • Assist with consolidating financial data and reporting cycles, using TM1 and Excel.

  • Use your system knowledge to help design and maintain automated financial reports, and look for ways to make reporting faster and easier.

  • Maintain and improve existing financial reports built in Power BI (a business reporting tool).

What you bring to the team

Education & Languages:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.

  • Availability: from March 2026.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Solid foundation in finance, with initial experience in finance functions (such as accounting, financial planning, or controlling).

  • Interest in and willingness to deepen technical understanding of financial systems. Prior exposure to tools like TM1 or Power BI is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.

  • Ability to analyze business needs, understand underlying data, and contribute to designing technical solutions that support effective decision-making.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and best practices (e.g., Power BI) is appreciated

Project & Communication Skills:

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to participate in project management activities: gathering requirements, supporting solution design, assisting with implementation, and preparing documentation.

  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to explain, train, and support users clearly.

Soft Skills & Mindset:

  • Sensitivity to the luxury industry and its standards of excellence.

  • Strong team spirit, collaborative mindset, and professionalism.
