The ORION POS program at Chanel is a critical initiative aimed at unifying the Point of Sale (POS) technology across regions to ensure security, reliability, and compliance. This program is designed to minimize obsolescence risks and enhance client and advisor experience. The ORION Program aims to replace the outdated POS systems in boutiques, which is crucial for supporting boutique sales, services, and operations. The program follows a 90/10 framework, striving for 90% common design across regions and 90% adoption of out-of-box functionalities within both the POS and Chanel ecosystems. Strong adoption is essential for the program's success, making change management a pivotal aspect. The role of Regional Change Lead is vital for driving and managing the ORION POS program’s change management workstream for North Asia and SEAA.

The impact you can create at CHANEL

  • Overseeing the overall change management planning and execution. This includes developing and implementing change plans, managing stakeholders, detailing out impact analysis, and executing communication and training plans. This position is essential for driving the ORION POS program’s transformation vision and ensuring its successful adoption across the region.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with program milestones, rollout phases, and regional nuances.

  • Partner with regional and market business lead to champion Orion’s transformation vision

  • Partner with regional and market business lead to leverage data to monitor adoption, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.

  • Align with global change lead on methodology and deliverables

  • Lead change impact assessments to tailor communications, engagement, and training plans for each market and division

  • Partner closely with business system analyst team on change impact analysis and training

  • Engage senior stakeholders and empower business leaders to drive adoption and embed new ways of working.

  • Build strong business relationships and foster strategic communication to secure buy-in and drive awareness of program goals.

  • Coordinate with regional and market teams to ensure alignment on change priorities and readiness.

  • Identify and appoint local change ambassadors and key users to form a robust change network supporting frontline adoption and feedback loops.

  • Facilitate co-design change workshops and iterative feedback sessions to amplify local insights and ensure solution relevance.

  • Oversee training design and delivery for boutique teams, super users, and back-office staff to ensure smooth transition and operational continuity.

What you can bring to the team…

  • 10+ years experience in technology transformation project management and delivery, ideally across regional and global scopes

  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and change adoption strategies across diverse markets.

  • Strong senior stakeholder management skill

  • Strong ability to translate business needs and system design into change strategies and tailor approaches for different divisions and markets.

  • Skilled in change governance frameworks, change plan, change impact analysis

  • Experienced working at a Global/Regional/Local level (with multiple countries)

  • Experience working in complex IT environments, and able to prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing context.

  • Experience in retail or luxury retail desired
