Chanel INDIA is currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Head Of Boutique.
About the role:
The head of boutique will be the ultimate leader and brand ambassador of the Boutique and “CHANEL&moi les Ateliers”, with an influential part for building and developing the team and ensuring that the boutique reaches or exceeds the defined performance targets, in both Fashion and Watch & Jewelry.
You will have a significant focus on establishing a world-class service and selling culture and ensuring high standards of client experience.
In addition to possessing strong management skills, you will be a pro-active and a proven leader who will inspire the team and clients on the shop floor by making sure that the key areas under your responsibility are perfectly driven: buyings, sales development, operations, after-sales, learning, visual merchandising and image, client experience and engagement.
Well balanced between operational tasks and people management, it comes natural to you to lead by example and to create a positive team collaboration. As a brand ambassador, you also understand how to develop business initiatives in line with the brand strategy.

Lead teams in the Boutique to drive the business and people forward, in line with CHANEL's vision of empowering women as leaders in style:

Developing and achieving business goals, partnering with the Front of House and Heart of House teams to devise creative and strategic solutions to increase sales.

Acting as a leader of leaders (Min 6 direct reports), actively developing boutique leadership and empowering the team to manage their own direct reports and assigned business responsibilities.

Fostering a positive working environment, sharing purpose and creating a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork

Leading the team with agility and resilience, searching for continuous improvement based on key performance indicators and lessons learned, in collaboration with Local and Regional teams based in Geneva headquarters.
Boost brand performance by communicating CHANEL's aesthetic vision to the boutique clients:

Capturing the essence of each collection and infusing it into the Boutique buyings.

Ensuring the Boutique assortment is consistent with the Boutique's buying’s strategy, and in line with Open-to-buy (budget) and global/regional guidelines.

Implementing and ensuring respect of image and visual merchandising guidelines.
Place client engagement at the heart of the Boutique Strategy by embodying the Chanel Client relational promise and guaranteeing the ultimate luxury experience.

Leading by example on the selling floor, demonstrating state-of-the-art client engagement and selling ceremony.

Coaching and inspiring boutique staff to deliver elevated client experience to all clients.

Developing and executing a client-centric culture among the boutique team, emphasizing on client engagement and building client loyalty (including through our “CHANEL&moi” promise and Global After-sales service).

Your qualifications:
You have at least 10 years of documented experience in sales management
You have min 5 years shop floor experience within the Luxury industry.
As a strong people manager, you are engaging and communicative, performance minded and decisive strive for continuous improvement. You combine empathy, social mobility with a strong focus on achieving results.
You are a self-driven, positive and independent person
You are trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and ethics
You speak English fluently
