We are building the data platform https://blog.chainalysis.com/reports/series-f/ for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. We’re looking to bring onboard experienced Senior Software Engineers who execute high-impact projects and are excited about building at a significant scale!

In this role, you’ll:

• Build cloud-native data ingest and aggregation processes that intake gigabytes of data per day

• Add features to our product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioural patterning, and more

• Build and improve batch based application as well as streaming pipelines processing billions of records per day

• Build scalable API services on AWS that handle 1,000’s requests per second

• Help the team to modernise our stack to operate at 10x current capacity

• Debug production issues across multiple systems and microservices

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native microservices-based distributed systems in a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP

• A bias to ship and iterate alongside product management and design partners

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages. We mostly use Java and Python but appreciate a variety of languages!

• Strong technical background with extensive experience working directly on backend systems/ projects

• Pride in materialising product ideas into production

• Exposure to or interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem

• Mentored other engineers, leading cross-team projects, and driving design and technology decisions is a plus

• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes

• A genuine excitement for significantly scaling large data systems
