In this role you will be responsible for extending and maintaining the code of Unreal Engine characters creation technology, tools, and pipelines (including CDPR extensions to these areas).

You will be working closely with the designers, character artists, animators, riggers and other engineers, thus positive attitude and skills to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team will be heavily appreciated. You will have the opportunity to develop stunning features for our games and populate our worlds with diverse crowds.

Daily Responsibilites

• Developing, maintaining and optimizing characters related systems and/or extensions to these systems, such as modular characters creation, customization and LODs, simplifying content creation process, spawning big amounts of characters.
• Collaborating with other engineers, designers, animators and other developers contributing to team work daily basis.
• Writing readable, high quality, efficient C++ code.
• Maintaining, debugging, profiling and bug fixing code to achieve the best quality and performance.
• Documenting code and work, creating debug tools for other developers, creating tests to cover existing functionality.
• Professional knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Easiness in adapting to new systems and big code base.
• Deep knowledge of C++.
• Math & algorithmic skills.
• Experience with profiling and memory optimizations.
• Good spirit and team player approach with solid communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• 3+ years experience in game dev industry and a shipped title with UE technology.

Nice to have

• Graphics programming experience, knowledge of rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture would be welcomed.
• Experience with at least one graphics debugging tool (Render Doc, Pix, console-specific, etc.).
• Experience in creating a AAA title for game consoles, debugging and profiling these games in console environment.

Working mode

• In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland.

Estimated pay range for this position:

12 600 – 20 400 PLN gross monthly.
