EMEA Technical Director (Nike)
We are seeking an experienced EMEA Technical Director to lead technical strategies and operations across our EMEA region. You will oversee facilities management, property management, and asset management initiatives, ensuring operational excellence and technological integration across all locations. You ensure asset compliance (fire safety, HVAC), manage vendor relationships, optimize operational costs, and drive sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Strategy
-
Develop and implement regional technical strategies aligned with company objectives
-
Lead digital transformation initiatives for facilities, property, and asset management systems
-
Oversee technology infrastructure, including Building Management Systems (BMS), CMMS, and property management platforms
-
Oversee assets-, building operations, including mechanical and electrical infrastructure, to ensure assets are safe, operational, and efficient.
Property & Asset Management
-
Direct property management operations, including maintenance schedules, compliance, and condition assessments
-
Establish asset management frameworks covering equipment lifecycle, inventory tracking, and preventive maintenance programs
-
Ensure optimal asset utilization and performance across the portfolio.
Operations & (Contract) Performance
-
Manage technical teams and contractors across multiple locations –
-
Monitor KPIs related to system uptime, asset performance, and operational efficiency.

Implement standardized processes and best practices across the EMEA region
-
Develop, manage, and report on annual operating budgets (Op Ex) for the EMEA region.
-
Select and supervise with local teams, external facility management service providers, negotiating contracts to ensure high-quality, cost-effective maintenance.

Drive sustainability initiatives and implement strategies to enhance the long-term asset value.

Guide and support local Site Leaders with tenant fit-out projects and technical issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Compliance & Risk
-
Ensure adherence to building codes, and data protection standards
-
Oversee risk management for critical infrastructure and assets
-
Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements.
-
Ensure all Sites meet local regulations and safety standards, particularly concerning fire safety and environmental compliance.
What you'll need:
-
10+ years in technical facilities,- property management,- asset management related technical leadership role
-
Proven experience with asset and property management systems
-
Strong knowledge of BMS, CMMS, building services and property management software
-
Experience and understanding of property regulations across multiple European/ EMEA countries.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field
-
Strong Stakeholder engagement skills, ability to guide local teams, and manage suppliers.

This role bridges high-level strategy with operational technical management, ensuring building assets remain compliant and high performing.
