About the Role:
As a CBRE People Business Partner, you will assist with the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.
What You’ll Do: - Assist with the development of onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives in the organization.
- Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
- Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin the discovery process of investigations and grievances.
- Manage several HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, etc. for a business unit or line of business.
- Conduct training on a variety of topics including performance management, diversity, and more.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees contacting the HR People department.
- Assist with inbound calls and route issues to appropriate People teams.
- Support payroll and timesheet inquiries, HR data changes, and general HR services.
- Maintain strong relationships with external payroll and admin providers.
- Collect all necessary documentation for new hires and ensure contracts are issued by the payroll provider.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
- Use People Soft and internal systems to research and resolve issues.
- Contribute to workflow improvements and process optimisation.
- Gather, sign, and archive all people-related documents in designated folders.
- Scan and record personnel files across multiple document management systems.
- Follow the recruitment process in the company’s Talent Management System and ensure candidate files are uploaded and archived correctly.
- Perform administrative tasks including Excel database validations and document tracking.
- Implement and guide others through standard employee relations procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local employment practices and documentation standards.
What You’ll Need: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Prior knowledge and experience in labor legislation for Greece and preferably Turkey is highly sought after.
- English, Greek and Turkish proficiency would be very appreciated. At the minimum, Greek and English proficiency are a must.
