About the Role:

As a CBRE Lead Data Center M&E Technician, you will focus on maintaining andtroubleshooting critical building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and fire/life safety-through daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response. Thetechnician ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and system reliability while coordinatingwith vendors and documenting all work. A technical background, Journeyman/Electricianor HVAC EPA 608 license, and experience in mission-critical environments are essential.

Other common job titles: Critical Facilities Technician, Data Center HVAC Technician, Data Center Electrician. Relevant military experience will be considered.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical
• equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM recommendations and
• industry standards.
• Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
• Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all
• equipment.
• Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC or Electrical-related
• client problems.
• Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures.
• Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality
• standards are met.
• Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive records.
  What You’ll Need:• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, andthe ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
