About the Role:
As a CBRE Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support the accounting team by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely billing and receivables records. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity as the company continues to grow. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, auditors, and stakeholders while managing a variety of accounts receivable activities.
This job is part of the Accounts Receivable function, responsible for posting payments, reconciling accounts, supporting billing processes, and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
What You’ll Do:
- Post payments and reconcile accounts in accordance with established requirements.
- Process security deposit refunds for all entities.
- Support accounts receivable tasks, including payment posting and credit memo application.
- Assist with the write‑off process, maintain records, and prepare related reports as needed.
- Provide support during audits by gathering, organizing, and submitting necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular account and payment reconciliations following best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Suggest opportunities to improve existing AR processes and enhance team efficiency.
- Use established procedures to solve routine problems with limited discretion.
- Deliver work output by following defined processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and AR software (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora, Stripe) preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- High attention to detail and comfort working within a rapidly growing organization.
- Willing to work Night Shift
