About the role
The purpose of the role is:

For our client in Brussels we are looking for a new colleague.
As a CBRE Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will assist with the coordination and execution of small to medium meetings, conference, and events. This role is part of the workplace experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors.
This role combines front-of-house reception responsibilities with facilities coordination duties, helping to ensure a safe, efficient and welcoming working environment at our clients' new office building.
Responsibility level:
To deliver best practice facilities management & building services which are consistent with client business needs, compliant with local regulatory requirements and in accordance with all corporate policies/procedures.
Principal duties:
- Primary point of contact for smaller meetings and events. Provide support for larger and more complex meetings and events as needed.
- Work with clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate guest services. This includes arrival experience transportation, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security.
- Assist with conference room turnover and room refresh. Reconfigure rooms where required.
- Respond to event activities such as gathering event supplies and food and beverage services.
- Coordinate and support the execution of meetings, events, and conferences.
- Manage a small inventory of event supplies
- Coordinate master meeting and events calendar for small to medium sized event spaces.
- Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation.
- Complete room checks and ensures technical and visual spaces are functional.
- Deliver Level 1 Audio-Visual (AV) support, including basic troubleshooting and equipment assistance.
- Prepare and set up meeting rooms, event spaces, and technical equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery and an optimal user experience.
- Professional presence and demeanour; with the ability to represent ENGIE in a positive and credible manner as a point of contact for visitors, employees and external stakeholders.
- Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
Profile:

High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.

Fulfil the physical requirements associated with this role.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Trilingual proficiency required: Dutch, French and English

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
