  • Manage a team that supports EHS site operations on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

  • Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide guidance for remote sites without staffed EHS support for emergency response, identifying the appropriate EHS resources and escalation for incidents.

  • Conduct weekly reviews of incidents to assure accurate classification, identify trends and provide escalations as needed.

  • Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers.

  • Ability to collaborate with Security and Business Continuity teams, particularly regarding shelter-in-place and evacuation aspects of incident response.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply site-level programs and identify appropriate standby resources.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Capability to provide remote guidance and triage response for sites without EHS support.

  • Skill in tracking EHS drill completion, closing action items and preparing high-severity briefings for leadership.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
