About the Role:

As a CBRE Solutions Consultant, will be responsible for working with internal teams to provide technical solutions

This job is part of the Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to the clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help the business with special projects that support sales functions and strategic goals.
  • Work with cross functional teams both internal and external for proposal generation.
  • Develops cost estimates accordig to company guidelines, rates,etc, using stand pricing and estimationg tools.
  • Develops, proposal content that conveys the solution being offered including but not limited to technical descriptions, architectures, alternative comparisions, etc.
  • Evaluates new technologies and determine whether they become part of the solution set
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of IT infrastructures, design and IT security best practices
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of automation control systems and control systems infrastructures
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Niagara AX, N4 and associated components
  • Perform research on connectivity options for all sub-systems that could be integrated into the BAS platform to include but not limited to; generators, meters, fire alarm systems, leak detection, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, lighting control, etc.
  • Work with estimating to construct a complete statement of work reflecting the proposed solution and provide that SOW to the business development executive to include technical descriptions, architectures, alternative comparisons, etc.
  • Perform site walk evaluation to scope work required.
  • High level of communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadline requirements
  • Act as the local software expert, assisting BDM’s, support staff, and management in the use of the tool.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • May be asked to lead a team of Analysts, assigning work and training.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

  • HVAC and Niagra knowledge required.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Travel requirement is up to 40% of your annual time. Trips will be overnight up to a weeklong. Back-to-back travel weeks are not normal.
