CBRE is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team in Beerse. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of laboratory and technical equipment. You’ll be part of a team that supports preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs across a wide range of disciplines.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, verification, and adjustment of equipment in temperature, humidity, pressure, torque, force, electrical, and dimensional disciplines.

  • Maintain accurate documentation including calibration certificates, equipment history, metrology database entries, and automated calibration software.

  • Develop and document calibration protocols for new applications, ensuring alignment with GxP standards.

  • Troubleshoot and escalate equipment issues or calibration failures.

  • Ensure timely completion of calibration tasks to support uninterrupted operations.

  • Support audits and inspections with calibration documentation and compliance evidence.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining calibration schedules and tracking systems.

  • Communicate progress and findings to customers and stakeholders.

  • Accompany senior staff for on-site calibrations.

  • Work independently and proactively seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in metrology, electronics, mechanical engineering, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in calibration (pharma, chemical, or manufacturing environment preferred).

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Strong understanding of calibration standards and quality systems (ISO 17025, GMP, GLP).

  • Experience with GxP-compliant documentation and protocol development.

  • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting 25kg, climbing ladders, standing, walking).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.

  • Basic math skills (percentages, markups, discounts).

  • Ability to work independently and continuously develop technical expertise.
